Season 2

The guys dedicate the episode to a comedy legend, Norm MacDonald.  Norm was a huge influence on not only our sense of humor but for so many comedians we love and respect.  Comedy is a sacred art that must be preserved, and Norm put his career on the line more than once for the art of Comedy.  Norm was a great entertainer and his impact on the art will be felt for generations!
The guys discuss the 20th Anniversary of the tragic events of September, 11 2001, how it ties in to the recent retreat in Afghanistan, what it meant for freedom and the ripple effects we still feel today.
The guys do a tasting of two delicious whiskey’s that Dave brought back from his trip to Virginia. First a wonderfully blended traditional Rye, and then a roughly 3 year old, Single Estate, Single Barrel Bourbon. Drinks happen, hilarity ensues!
Mike flies solo as he discusses the utter failure of the current administration with the ongoing retreat in Afghanistan.  The Biden Administration has pulled out of the war torn country after 20 years and a nearly 90 billion dollar investment by the American people.  The crisis at hand has been handled poorly at every juncture, from Biden claiming the “buck stops with me” to simultaneously blaming everyone else in the very next breath.  Mike discusses all this and much, MUCH more…
Leading up to our series on the US Constitution in relation to the 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendments, the guys continue their discussion on best practices when interacting with law enforcement. How to establish your current level of seizure under the fourth amendment, are you being detained, arrested or are you free to go?  What is a “Terry” stop and what is permissible therein?  When and how is it appropriate to speak with law enforcement?  Always ask for an attorney. Never consent to any searches. Be as respectful and reasonably compliant as possible, continue to object to any unlawful orders or searches/seizures, but NEVER resist or touch any law enforcement officers or agents. All this and much, MUCH, more…
We are not attorneys and in no way should any of the content within be used as legal advice. Do not interpret any content within as legal counsel or anything more than civil discussion and interpretations of best practices/obligations when interacting with law enforcement as we currently understand them.
In preparation for our upcoming series on the US Constitution the guys discuss how to interact with law enforcement, specifically related to Public stops, “Terry” stops, and Traffic stops.  What are your rights and how should you assert them?

The guys discuss the unrest in South Africa as tensions escalate in the impoverished nation. Following the arrest and detention of President Jacob Zuma on allegations of corruption and financial mismanagement during his 10 year term, the country has devolved into chaos as national unemployment has risen as high as 40%. Protests and riots have escalated into all out violence and citizens have been forced to resort to taking up arms to protect their communities and homes.
